Artist Statement
Van Huynh is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Dallas, Texas. Food culture and cuisine has always played a major role in her life and serves as a source of inspiration for some of her work. Her art exhibits a strong focus on bright bold colors and whimsically stylized forms as she explores the colorful role that food plays in our lives. It is through this playfully artistic lens that she hopes to express certain simple joys in life like what goes into a good cup of Vietnamese coffee or admiring the sheer variety of beautiful experiences found in our favorite treats. Her overall approach to art is to seek the things that bring so much flavor, vibrancy, and diversity to life.
