Artist Statement
I want to showcase the impact of climate change on education through this image of a young boy, eager to attend school but forced to turn back due to flooding that has rendered his school unusable.
In contrast, I also want to highlight the joy and beauty of human connection through this heartwarming picture of young boys laughing and playing together, showcasing the unbreakable bonds of friendship.
